In the Unicorn Ensemble's second production, the regular ensemble was joined by Irma Innis and Joe Hood for the world premiere of Rosy Fordham's "Sleeping Beauty".
Re-uniting much of the team behind Rosamunde Hutt's critically acclaimed Journey to the River Sea, this new production delivered all the classic hallmarks of a Unicorn Christmas show. It may be a panto-free zone, but the stage burst with mischief, merriment and magic, and even a few blokes in frocks in this witty and vibrant re-working of the classic fairy tale.
Sleeping Beauty sold-out across its full run, with extra performances added to cope with unprecedented demand.
Sleeping Beauty ran from 10th December 2008 until 24th January 2009 at the Unicorn Theatre
