The film shows an 'average' day in the life of Robert, a wheelchair user, and his girlfriend Julie. This is no triumph and tragedy film - there are downs for course, but they do not define Robert's life, and there are plenty of ups too. The film challenges the average able-bodied school-attender's stereotype of a 'disabled' person, and was distributed to schools around the country.
